Help Center & Troubleshooting
Step-by-step solutions for common portal rejections, format conversions, and file size requirement errors.
Common Portal Issues & Quick Fixes
1Portal says "File size too small (Minimum 100 KB required)"
How to fix: Select the 100 KB or 200 KB preset, choose "Minimum" mode (or "Exact" mode if strict), and click Increase Size. The tool will expand the file to reach the exact threshold without degrading visual clarity.
2Portal says "Invalid Image Dimensions" after increasing size
How to fix: SizeIncreaser adjusts file size without altering pixel resolution. If your portal requires specific pixel dimensions, crop your image to the correct width/height before increasing file size.
3Portal rejects WebP or AVIF files ("Only JPG/JPEG or PNG accepted")
How to fix: In SizeIncreaser, open "Change Format" under Output Format Preference and select "Convert Images to JPG / JPEG". SizeIncreaser will convert the image to universal JPEG format while meeting your required KB target.
4Portal says "File size exceeds maximum allowed (e.g. max 50 KB)"
How to fix: Check your portal instructions carefully for both the minimum AND maximum range (e.g. "between 20 KB and 50 KB"). Set your SizeIncreaser target to a safe midpoint, such as 35 KB or 40 KB.
5Signature lines appear blurry or faint when increased
How to fix: Use "Exact Target Size" mode. Exact mode preserves 100% of the original strokes while expanding the file structure to meet the portal size minimum.
6PDF Document upload fails on banking KYC portals
How to fix: Drop your PDF into SizeIncreaser, type 1 MB or 2 MB in the custom size input, and download the resized PDF. The PDF structure remains completely readable and searchable.
