Why Government Portals Reject Small Images

During online registrations for competitive exams like UPSC Civil Services, SSC CGL/CHSL, IBPS, and State PSCs, candidate upload forms enforce strict validation parameters:

  • Photograph: Must be between 20 KB and 50 KB (or 50 KB - 100 KB on certain portals).
  • Signature: Must be between 10 KB and 20 KB.
  • Format: JPG / JPEG only.

If your photo is 14 KB, the portal will trigger an error: "File size too small, please upload a file between 20KB and 50KB".

How to Fix It with SizeIncreaser:

1.Drag and drop your scanned photograph or signature.
2.Select target size (e.g. 50 KB or 100 KB).
3.Click Increase Size.
4.Download the newly sized file and upload it to the exam portal.
Official Portal Rules Notice: Portal upload criteria (minimum byte sizes, aspect ratios, and compression limits) may be updated periodically by exam authorities and visa consulates. Always verify current notifications before final submission.
